Well hello everyone alas I write to you again. It is of course a new year and so far I hope it is going well for everyone. I have been working on some projects and got some new ones cooking up but I wanted to write about my latest Muse. So I got the Croods for Christmas and I guess this is a sort of impromptu review of the movie. quite honestly I thought it was going to be your average buy meets girl, girl runs off with handsome "Guy" fall in love blah blah blah. Well I was WAY off the mark because the movie was darn AWESOME!. Dreamworks I am a fan of your movies. I mean Shrek was great and How to Train your dragon was wicked, but I have to say they out did themselves with the Croods. The characters which at first might seen simplistic are really quite complicated and well done. And the special effects well at times they looked real (if I wasn't watching an animated movie I might think it was real). Don't want to give away spoilers here but if you haven't seen you NEED to! Lastly the music score on this movie was just so moving that I love just about every song in the soundtrack (Going Guy's Way being my favourite of the lot). So i've watched this movie a few times and well I can't get it out of my head lol. And a course a drawing of Eep and Guy and maybe something inspired by the movie might be coming up if my Muse has her way. So yeah anyway if you have not seen it please do because it is quite simply amazing.

Alrighty so the new webpage is coming along nicely. Just have the links and portfolio sections to finish up and I am hoping I can go live with in the next few weeks and at the same time get my facebook page up too. I also have some new projects in the works as well. Mainly I have been toying with the idea of selling illustrations on products from Cafepress.com. Got a new illustration on the go as well. Should be an interesting few weeks.

Anyway hope everyone had a great Easter weekend, more soon.

I now have a new blog space through Blogger. My new blog is located here. Once I get access to my website again (its currently going through a migration of servers) i'll be posting a link to it there as well. The website is coming along great the main layout is complete and about ready to start working on the Dreamweaver part of the web design. Hoping I have the website up and running by the end of February. I will be posting a link to the website once its completed.

Would like to just start off and say Happy New Year everyone. Its a new year and so it is time for some new projects. The first being another redesign of my portfolio webpage, going for a nice fresh and nature-like appeal with this one. Soft greens and blues and the use of simple butterflies for the buttons. Work has already started on it and I hope to have it done soon. Will also be adding new drawings and illustrated images later on as well. Hope everyone is having a good year so far and I will post further updates at another time.
